Brymbo Football club has had a long prestigious history, being founded some 60 years as part of the Steel Works complex and having a reputation as one of Wales' top amateur football clubs. During this history they won the Welsh National League Championship on no fewer than 10 occasions together with numerous cup successes, the pinnacle of their achievements probably being their Welsh Amateur Cup triumph in 1967.
The present Club now is based at the Brymbo Sports and Social Club complex, boasting some of the best facilities in North Wales. The Club has this season re-established a Reserve Team , based upon the successful Under 16 Youth team of the previous season. The Club prides itself on being a key part of the community, giving an opportunity to youngsters to participate in organised sport through its Youth team

The club run 2 teams in the Ponderosa Café Wrexham League on Saturdays in Division 1 and Division 3. One team in the Wrexham Pairs league on Mondays and some Thursdays. One team in the Wrexham Veterans League on Tuesdays in Division 1. New members are always welcome information cam be obtained from the chairman or secretary

We have 4 all weather courts with lighting. Brymbo Tennis Club has an active social calendar including American tournaments and winter leagues for both mixed teams and men.
In the summer we have club nights twice a week from 6.30pm until late on Tuesdays and Fridays. In the winter club nights are on Fridays only, and the flood lights and balls are provided
On Thursday mornings throughout the summer there is coaching for ladies (men also allowed) and junior coaching is available on Saturdays.
The club has ladies, mens and mixed teams in the Chester and District league which runs throughout the summer.
The membership fees per annum are;

- Seniors - £75
- Over 60 - £45
- Family - £150
